This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not: i. modify or copy the materials; ii. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial); iii. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on our web site or provided with our products and services; iv. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or v. transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by WIFI MODEL RAILROAD LLC at any time. 1. All LocoFi™ decoders are tested by us before they are shipped to you, and are warranted against any manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from delivery. In the unlikely scenario that you receive a defective product, we will repair or replace any defective units at no additional cost to you.

2. All returned units must be in accordance with Acceptable Use under Terms of Use to be eligible for warranty. Use not in accordance with these terms will void the warranty and we will not be able to honor such warranty claims.

3. Return shipping: Prior authorization is required for all returns. Please contact us at wifimodelrailroad@gmail.com for prior authorization and we will work with you to address your concerns, to your satisfaction.

2. DC power must be "clean" or filtered. Some older power packs give out rectified AC which is not "clean". This is what we call "noisy" power supply. As such, the output voltage fluctuates between 0V and peak value. While DC motors can work off of such voltage, electronic circuitry will fail as soon as the voltage falls below a certain threshold and remains there for a certain amount of time. This is usually of the order of couple of milliseconds but enough to fail the electronics. Having a suitably rated filter capacitor on the power supply output can help with getting a "clean" DC.

3. We recommend the use of a voltage regulated DC power supply. A decoder's power requirements fluctuate during operation that can lead to fluctuations in voltage. A voltage regulated power supply will help ensure a constant working voltage for smoother operation of the locomottive while reducing "stress" on the decoder electronics and meeting the varying power requirements of decoder at the same time. It will help increase the life of your decoder.

4. If you plan on installing LocoFi™ in a DCC Ready Locomotive or Locomotive with an Existing DCC Decoder, you will have to remove the Existing DCC Ready Circuitry or Existing Decoder, as applicable. You will. consequently, lose any related / dependent functionality like existing sounds.

5. Installation of LocoFi™ decoders, like all DC and DCC decoders, requires basic soldering skills. Please read the installation instructions included with your product carefully. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding installation. We will not be responsible for any damage to your locomotive, tracks or other equipment due to incorrect installation or related issues.

6. Please ensure that your locomotive is compatible with LocoFi™ decoders before purchase and / or installtion. Please read the product description and FAQs. Please contact us if you have any questions. We will not be responsible for any damage to your locomotive, tracks or other equipment due to incompatibility or related issues.

7. LocoFi™ installation, like most decoder installations, requires modifications to the existing locomotive structure, mechanics and / or electronics circuitry. Please consult respective product literature before proceeding with installation. Again, please contact us if you have any questions. We will not be responsible for any damage to your locomotive, tracks or other equipment due to incorrect installation, incompatibility or related issues.

1. Most orders are usually shipped within 1-3 business days. Custom orders requiring manual modifications may need an additional 3-5 business days for processing. For custom orders requiring parts procurement from outside vendors will incur additional delay and will be notified with an estimate.
