LocoFi sounds are stored in the microSD card onboard the module. Although we try to make it easier for our customers by pre-loading a certain sound, it's really easy to do it yourself. Simply head over to the Resources section of our website (https://www.wifimodelrailroad.com/resources) and download the sound scheme to your computer. Next, unzip the downloaded files to a directory and copy them directly to the microSD card. Please use the supplied SD card adapter if needed. Check out the video https://youtube.com/shorts/ErZaFgJFnN8 on how to replace the microSD card in the module.
The LocoFi modules supports up to 1.5A of motor current. If it becomes limiting for S scale, it is recommended to use an external H-bridge to power the motor.
Last but not the least, S scale will benefit from using a larger speaker for larger sound. A 1.5W 8ohm or 3W 4ohm replacement speaker is recommended.
