I just posted another YouTube video featuring LocoFi in a Dead Rail/battery operations use.
The New Video is Titled:
Making and Using a Portable Dead Rail Demonstration HO Layout - Part 2
The video describes the installation of LocoFi in a Walthers' EMD GP15-1 locomotive with a trailing "battery car"/gondola.
My Webpage titled “A Journey Into HO Scale Model Railroading in the
21st Century” is where I’ve posted a lot more information on my foam board constructed, portable, Dead Rail demonstration layout. It also has information on the conversion of a Walther’s EMD GP15-1 for Dead Rail operation using LocoFi and lots of other useful information and concepts.
Part 3 is in the works now and covers setting up the LocoFi APP and configuring the locomotive.
Keep up the great work on this excellent product. The excitement of this device just keeps driving me ahead to learn more and more.
My granddaughter really enjoyed using the Android phone to run a train on the Dead Rail demo layout yesterday. She had a HUGE grin on her face the whole time.
Sincerely,

Ok. Took me a while to search this one (for some reason I couldn't find it in my bookmarks earlier) but here's another useful information source: https://rogershobbycenter.com/lipoguide
This is in fact the one we quote more often than the Oscar Liang website. Apologies for not being able to get to it earlier.
Plus, there's plenty other websites, mostly repeated information but sometimes extra unique info.
Another useful website: https://www.genstattu.com/bw/
Of particular interest are their batteries. No affiliation but yes, they are local. I have talked to them. I think they are one of the top notch quality.
>...Battery University Website...
Yes. If someone wants to get into the chemistry and nitty gritty stuff, then Battery University is the one. Now, that's 40+ years experience speaking 😀. Thank you for sharing that!
